Seasonal Parking at Hamburg Airport

during our peak travel season we will provide special seasonal parking areas that you can reserve in advance on our booking plattform https://parking.hamburg-airport.de. These seasonal parking areas are located inside and outside the airport premises. We therefore recommend that you plan more time for your arrival to Hamburg Airport, find out the route in advance and check construction sites and traffic jam reports.
This seasonal parking area is approx. 5 km away from Hamburg Airport. Please allow enough time for the journey from the season parking area to the airport.
The exact address for your navigation device is: Gutenbergring 53, 22848 Norderstedt. You will receive a map with your reservation confirmation.
This seasonal parking area is a temporary parking area. In addition to your navigation system, also follow the signs on site. The area is at the end of the bend.

You have the following options from the seasonal parking area to get to the airport and back:
Book a taxi ride, for example, through the provider "Hansa Taxi" on +49402111799. Please find out in advance about the costs involved. The journey to the airport takes approx. 15 minutes.
Or use public transport (bus). For this we recommend the line 191 (station "An'n Slagboom") or line 193 (station "Garstedt, Nordport "Süd"). Please select and plan your suitable bus connection for the outward and return journey on the HVV website. Please allow enough time for the journey frequency and the journey time of approx. 45 minutes.
Please also note that since January 1st 2024, bus tickets can only purchased cashless on site. Please be sure to find out about your purchasing options before you arrive.
The bus stops are about a 10-minute walk from the seasonal parking area.
Please print out the reservation confirmation or upload it to your smartphone. There you will find, among other things the usage instructions for entry and exit. In addition, it's not necessary to display the reservation confirmation in your vehicle.
This is a temporarily parking area, without a barrier system. Employees are only on site during peak times, otherwise the parking area is patrolled regulary.
- If a staff member is standing at the entrance, please show your reservation confirmation and follow the staff member's instruction.
- If there is no employee on site, please line up next to the other vehicles and be careful not to block any traffic lanes or other vehicles.
The access road has manual barrier, which is generally open. If the barrier is closed, you can easily open it by yourself and retract it.
Earlier Entry: You can enter up to 2 hours earlier.
Later Entry: Your parking space will be kept free for you for the entire reserved parking time, so that later entry is possible at any time.
Earlier Exit: Of course, an earlier exit is possible. Please note, that there will be no partial refund if you leave earlier.
Later Exit: A later exit is possible up to 2 hours after the planned exit. If you park for a longer period of time, we reserve the right to tow your vehicle for a fee.
If you cannot adhere to the waiting period, we recommend that you cancel and the rebook via our booking platform immediately before you start your journey. Further details on the topic of "cancellation" can be found in our FAQ.
This seasonal parking area is located directly on the airport grounds and is approx. 10-15 minutes away from Terminal 2 and is therefore easily accessible on foot. There is no shuttle bus between the "Umlaufstraße" and the terminals.

This area is a temporary parking area. In addition to your navigation system, also follow the signs on site.
The "Umlaufstraße" will be set up as a one-way street for the use of seasonal parking spaces. Therefore, during this time, access is only possible via "Flughafenstraße" (from the direction of Langenhorn / Highway) or "Zeppelinstraße" (from the city center). Please allow enough time for your journey.
Important: this seasonal parking area will only be set up shortly before they go into operation. Until then, the circulation road is accessible on both sides and is not intended for parking. The seasonal parking spaces are neither marked or assigned, so please follow the instructions of the on-site staff member.
