Free Wi-Fi is available for passengers and visitors throughout the entire airport. With your laptop, tablet, or smartphone, you can surf the internet free of charge 24 hours a day. For guests without their own device, an internet point is available in Terminal 2 (arrivals).
How the Wi-Fi service at Hamburg Airport works:

Inside the security area, travelers can refill their bottles free of charge at eight drinking water stations. The dispensers are located at Gates C09–C14 (level 0), C07 (level 1), and at Gates B52/53 (level 1), before and after passport control. The clearly visible Brita water dispensers are easy to use, and empty bottles can be taken through security without any problems.
Our “Upper Deck” near Gate A17 in the security area offers all passengers free access and a great view of the apron. Numerous power outlets and seating options make waiting more comfortable. Other waiting areas are designed in a typical Hamburg style and offer a variety of seating options, including quiet zones, business areas, and bistro tables as meeting points.
In addition to the public waiting areas, Hamburg Airport offers an exclusive airport lounge with workstations, rest areas, buffet, and Wi-Fi. Passengers of certain airlines also have access to the Lufthansa or Emirates lounges. More information can be found here.
Many of our tables in the waiting areas and dining areas are equipped with 230V or USB power sockets. For passengers who prefer to stay mobile or have forgotten their charging cable, we offer the Chimpy power bank rental service, including a suitable cable, in all Press & Books stores at the airport.Tip

Toilets are located in both the public area and the security area along the side corridors and at the gates. Accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities are also available there. We recommend using the digital airport map to find the nearest facilities. In the public area and in the airport lounge, showers are also available.
Designated smoking areas are available for smoking passengers at Hamburg Airport. In the public area, smoking zones are located outside the terminals on both the arrivals and departures levels. In the security area, a smoking lounge is available in the Skywalk. With comfortable lounge seating and direct views of the apron, it offers a high-quality retreat that combines comfort and functionality. The lounge is located between Gates C16 and C15. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
If you need to send parcels before departure, you can use the DHL parcel shop in Terminal 1. There is also a stamp machine available there. Mailboxes are located on both the departure and arrival levels. The digital airport map helps you find the exact locations.
