The airport has around 50 shop and food/beverage units on both sides of the security checkpoint. Current vacancies can be found under Available Rental Spaces. But if you can’t find anything suitable there, please get in touch.

The period of lease depends on various factors. Pop-up contracts start with a lease period of at least 3 months.

The condition of the spaces varies. Some shop units already have flooring and lighting. These are ideally suited to short-term leases. Other spaces are rented out in unfinished shell state, which presents far more design possibilities for individual brands to implement their corporate identity. 

It is essential that furnishings within the shop units fulfil, as a minimum, Class B 1 Fire Protection Regulations in line with DIN 4102. For further details, please contact our rentals team. 

Rental rates vary according to the concept, location and period of lease. There is no standardised price per m². 

Our landside shopping mall, located before the security checkpoint, is normally open from 9:00am to 9:00pm. In the security-controlled area, shops open from 7:00am to 9:00pm. Travel agencies are open from 10:00am to 7:00pm. 

It is an essential requirement for every person employed at Hamburg Airport, whether in the landside area in the terminals or airside in the sensitive sections of the security-controlled area, require an Airport ID. More: Airport Security

Yes, employees of external companies may acquire general access permits for special staff car parking at the airport.
