During your journey

For your trip, we recommend that you use our parking spaces for electric vehicles. We currently provide a total of around 40 parking spaces with charging points. These are located in multi-storey parking lot P4, level 0 in parking areas G and W. Access is via the arrivals level.

You will find the valid parking tariffs at the entrance. Charging your vehicle is free of charge and does not have to be activated in advance. You can use a type 2 charging cable to charge your vehicle. Alternatively, you can also charge via a Schuko socket. The maximum charging power is 3.7 kW.

For the spontaneous

Hamburg Airport is one of the public charging points in Hamburg, so you can quickly charge your electric vehicle. The charging points are located on the departure level near the entrance to parking garage P2 / parking garage P4 and can be accessed depending on availability. If you want to leave your e-vehicle while charging (up to 60 minutes), simply place your parking disk behind the windscreen so that it is clearly visible.

Payment for charging is made conveniently via your RFID chip card or via the Direct Pay system by text message or app to the respective electricity supplier. Further information, for example on electromobility and payment options, can be found at www.stromnetz-hamburg.de (only German).
