LLOYD and OLYMP have opened new shops at Hamburg Airport

Premium selection of ladies’ and men’s fashion / Hamburg Airport and resident shops make it possible to shop in compliance with all hygiene regulations

Finally — shopping is possible at Hamburg Airport again: Most shops at the airport reopened and two new brands are extending Hamburg Airport’s range. Shoe manufacturer LLOYD of Sulingen has a new concept store in the security-controlled area, opposite gate C08, offering premium collections for ladies and men, including not just shoes but also leather jackets and leather or cloth accessories. Right next door, the OLYMP fashion label has a new brand store with exclusive men’s fashion. Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure, you are sure to find something here, with a wide selection of shirts, polo shirts and accessories such as ties and belts.

“For our passengers, it is a very good sign that not only have most shops at Hamburg Airport reopened, but now we also have two brand new shops, LLOYD and OLYMP, extending our range. These two new brands make browsing through the choice of fashion and accessories here even more attractive,” says Lutz Deubel, Director of Center Management at Hamburg Airport.

Both LLOYD and OLYMP have been seen at Hamburg Airport already in recent years. LLOYD had an innovative pop-up shop, and OLYMP had a fixed retail store. After extensive remodelling of the retail space on the Passenger Pier, the two brands have now returned to freshly renovated facilities at the airport. The new LLOYD shop is around 55 square meters, with OLYMP taking almost 70 square meters.

Shopping in compliance with all safety and hygiene requirements

The current safety rules for retail apply in all shops at Hamburg Airport. A face mask must be worn in the shops, and extra hand disinfectant dispensers are available in the shops and throughout the airport buildings. For everyone to be able to travel safely, it is vital that passengers comply with regulations and look after themselves and one another.

To ensure that passengers and visitors are well informed before they come to the airport, Hamburg Airport has answers to the most important questions about flying safely on its website: https://www.hamburg-airport.de/en/current_information.php. Here you will also find a practical checklist to help you think of everything needed to make your journey as safe as you are used to.
