The variety of shopping opportunities at Hamburg Airport continues to grow: On 12 April, 2018, tech2go opened its first German store at Hamburg Airport. In the new shop, passengers can purchase practical electronic accessories from headphones and charging cables to fashionable protective covers and bumpers for smartphones and tablets. Tech2go is a Lagardère Travel Retail shop concept. The modern 30-m² store is located close to Gate A20 in the security-controlled area of Hamburg Airport.

“In the new tech2go shop, our passengers can find useful electronic accessories for their journey,” says Lutz Deubel, Head of Center Management at Hamburg Airport. “Whatever they need, whether it’s a replacement charging cable because they forgot theirs at home, headphones for entertainment while travelling, or protective covers to protect mobile devices from wind and weather, customers have a wide range to choose from at tech2go. Our retail mix has grown again with the attractive tech2go range.”

“From headphones to travel adapters, from fashionable bumpers to chargers, tech2go has just what every passenger needs – those smartphone and tablet accessories that travellers just can’t do without if they are going to get the most out of their electronic assistants whether travelling or at home,” emphasises Oliver Hempel, CMO of Lagardère Travel Retail. “Not only do our customers find the complete range of electronics they need, they can also benefit from individual advice and even try out selected items such as headphones and speakers in-store to make sure they choose the right product for their needs.”
