Parking recommendations
In the following section, we would like to offer some recommendations to make the process of parking at Hamburg Airport as easy as possible for you before you even get here.
Parking space reservation
For the first time, Hamburg Airport is offering the opportunity of parking space reservation for holiday parking as of June this year of journeys from July 2010. As of 7. June 2010 you have the opportunity to reserve a parking space for the duration of your journey. Such reservation is binding. On reserving, a parking space will be kept available for you in the parking area selected by you for the duration of your journey. Please enter the period of parking required and the select a parking product. Payment can be made via EC card or credit card.
Luggage carts
You will find luggage carts at the entrances respectively exits of all multi-storey car parks. If you wish to use a luggage cart, please insert a 50 Cent or 1 Euro coin as a deposit as indicated. Following currencies are also accepted:

Availability of parking spaces
Please check the availability of parking spaces in the multi-storey car parks before driving out to the airport. The “Airport Parking“ section of our website will show you the layout of our parking facilities as well as the current availability of parking spaces. Alternatively, you also have the option of obtaining this information over the phone; please call (0 40) 50 75-33 03 [24 hours/ day].
Requesting a receipt
If you require a receipt, please push the “Receipt“ button on the pay machine after paying. Receipts are not printed out automatically upon payment.
Car park dispenser
“We are happy if you find everything without a problem – for example your car“. On the main staircases of all our multi-storey car parks, we have mounted dispensers equipped with slips of paper indicating where you are. Please use one of these to jot down where your car is parked respectively mark the spot on the site plan on the back of the page.

Parking for more than 7 days
If you need to park your car for more than 7 days, the Holiday Parking Ticket is just the thing for you. It reduces your parking fee by €10 in the multi-storey car parks P1, P2, P8 and P9. Please click here to obtain the voucher.
Remove any valuables from the vehicle
We recommend removing any valuables which are visible from the outside as well as your navigation system holder from your vehicle.
Porter service
Baggage transfer assistance can be requested using the porter request phones inside the terminal or at the information desks.

Towing procedures
As announced over the loudspeaker at regular intervals, illegally parked cars will be towed away at the owner’s expense. To avoid this happening, please take notice of the applicable signs when parking your car.
Problems on site?
In the case of any problems on site, please push the call button on the pay machine or at the entry/ exit. The operations centre is staffed right around the clock and is therefore in a position to assist you at any time of the day or night.
