You can reach the Airport from the following directions:

Schleswig - Holstein
via the A 7 motorway, exit Schnelsen - Nord

Mecklenburg - Vorpommern
via the A 1 and A 24 motorways, exit Horn (A 24)

Niedersachsen
via the A 7 motorway, exit Schnelsen - Nord

By car within Hamburg
Throughout Hamburg the way to the Airport is well signposted. Please consult the ground plan for further details.

Tip:
Particularly at peak periods in the morning and evening, car drivers may encounter bottlenecks and traffic congestions. We strongly recommend that you use public transport or the airport bus service where possible. Motorists coming from the city centre who are not familiar with the area are advised to drive to the P8/P9 car park or to the General Aviation Terminal on 'Weg beim Jäger' via Alsterkrugchaussee and Sportallee.
